► Conditions for admission

Courses are open to adults and young people under 18 years of age with parental consent.

Before enrolling, each student must check that there is no reason why they may not participate in an Alliance Française Monaco course, for example, the lack of a visa or residence permit. The Alliance Française Monaco cannot be held responsible in the event that such documents are not issued.

Group courses will only go ahead if there are a minimum of 6 students enrolled per group (or 5 students in the case of mini groups).

► Insurance

Each student must be insured against the risks of illness, accident and civil liability. The cost of this insurance is borne by the student.

► Financial terms and conditions

To participate in group courses, an annual enrolment fee of

€50 is payable, in addition to the cost of the course.

Tuition fees must be paid during enrolment at the latest.

Prices for group, mini group, one-to-one and corporate courses are provided to the student and published. The management reserves the right to change prices without notice.

Payment for lessons must be made exclusively by cheque made out to the Alliance Française Monaco or by bank transfer (bank details will be provided).

The DELF examination schedule and fees are set by the French Ministry of National Education and are listed on the Centre international de Valbonne website, or you can contact the Centre by email ([email protected]) or the DELF Secretariat on 04 92 96 52 06

► Cancelling a one-to-one or corporate lesson

Lessons may be cancelled up to 24 hours before they are due to take place. Cancellations made on the same day as the lesson will automatically be billed.

► Enrolment procedures

By enrolling in one of our courses, you agree to the procedures and to these terms and conditions for enrolment. In the event of a dispute, Monaco courts have sole jurisdiction.

When enrolling, students must show valid proof of identity (passport, residence permit, identity or resident’s card, etc.)

Once started, all courses will continue for the duration selected by the student on enrolment.

Once a course has commenced, students who have to miss lessons for health reasons (a medical certificate is required) will be able to make up the lost hours or receive reimbursement for the missed lessons on a pro-rata basis.

If a student cancels lessons once a course has started, no reimbursement will be made.

Students who miss lessons due to their own fault may not request make-up lessons or reimbursement.

Students should arrive fifteen minutes before the start of their first lesson in order to complete the enrolment procedures, and will need to bring a photograph for identification purposes (paper or digital format).

► Internal regulations for in-person courses in the classroom

Lessons take place in a school building made available to us by the Monegasque Government and so students must comply with the security measures in place by showing the guard the name badge (or identity document) issued during enrolment.

Lessons are held in the classroom throughout the year except during August, school holidays and public holidays.

Please use the stairs in the indicated direction to reach the classroom and when leaving, and avoid lingering on the stairs.

Unless students specifically object, the Alliance Française Monaco is authorised to use photos and images of users in its communications tools and promotional media.
