► Admission requirements
Courses are open to adults and young people under the age of 18, with parental authorisation. Each learner must check, before enrolling, that there is nothing to prevent their participation inAlliance française de Monaco courses (Lack of visa, residence permit in particular), the latter cannot beheld responsible if these documents are not issued.Each group course session will only start if a minimum of 6 learners per group are enrolled.
► Insurance
Each learner must be insured against illness, accident and civil liability. These insurances are theresponsibility of the learner.
► Financial conditions
Participation in group courses requires payment of a registration fee of 50€, in addition to the coursefee.The tuition fee must be paid at the latest when enrolling.Prices for group, mini-group, private and business courses are given to the student and are available.The school reserves the right to change fees without prior notice.Payment for courses must be made exclusively by cheque made payable to the Alliance française deMonaco or by bank transfer (a bank details form will be provided).The DELF examination timetable and fees are set by the French Ministry of Education (they can beconsulted on the Centre international de Valbonne website by e-mail [email protected] or at theDELF secretariat: 04 92 96 52 06).The timetable and fees for the DALF exam are set by the French Ministry of Education (they can beconsulted at the CUEFLE secretariat in Nice: 04 93 37 53 83).
► Conditions for cancelling a private or business course
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. If the cancellation is made on the day of the course, it will be billed automatically.
► Enrolment formalities
Enrolment in one of our courses implies acceptance of the terms and conditions and these generalterms and conditions of enrolment. In the event of a dispute, only Monegasque courts havejurisdiction.At the time of enrolment, the student must present a valid form of identification (passport, residencepermit, identity card, etc.).Any course started is due for the duration chosen by the student at the time of enrolment.
Once the course has started, if a student has to miss a lesson for health reasons (with medical
justification), he/she will be entitled to the postponement of the lessons due or to a pro-rata refund of
the lessons missed.

A student who has missed lessons through no fault of their own cannot request a postponement orrefund.Learners must arrive fifteen minutes before the start of their first lesson to complete the enrolmentformalities, and must be in possession of an identity photo (in paper or digital format).
► Rules for face-to-face courses in the classroom
As classes take place in an educational establishment made available to us by the Monegasquegovernment, it is necessary to respect security measures by presenting the caretaker with a namebadge (or ID) which is given to you when you enrol.Lessons take place all year round in the classroom, except during the month of August, school holidaysand public holidays. A direction of movement via the stairs must be followed to reach the classroom and to leave it,avoiding staying on the stairs.
► Image rights
Unless otherwise stated by the learner, the Alliance française de Monaco is authorised to use photosand images of its users in its communication tools and promotional media.

► Data protection
Alliance française de Monaco complies with the law relating to the protection of personal data n°2018-493 of 20 June 2018. The personal information you entrust when registering is never used in ouradvertising or communicated to third parties. Only the surname, first name, date of birth, nationality,year of birth, postal address, telephone number and email address, as well as the number of lessonscompleted, remain on our email server (this information can be modified or deleted on request bycalling 06 78 63 63 91). This information will be kept for a maximum of two years.
► Internal provisions
In the classroom premises, smoking, bringing food and drinks is forbidden.A courteous and respectful attitude towards property and people is requested. The Alliance françaisede Monaco is a place of learning where all cultures must respect each other in a spirit of tolerance andnon-discrimination without distinction of gender, age, ethnic origin, sexual orientation or disability.Students are asked to be punctual for lessons.No certificate of attendance will be issued to a student who has attended less than 80% of the coursesfor which they are registered.In the event of a serious or repeated breach of these rules leading to the expulsion of the student, noreimbursement of the course fees may be requested from the Alliance française de Monaco.
1.Preamble
In accordance with current legislation, the purpose of these internal rules is to specify the provisions applying to all students enrolled in courses and/or participating in cultural events and all activities organized by the Alliance Française of Monaco.
Persons enrolled on courses will hereinafter be referred to as “students”.
The Alliance Française of Monaco will hereinafter be referred to as “AF Monaco”.
2. General provisions
Article 1 – Purpose
The purpose of these internal regulations is to define the general rules governing health and safety
as well as the rules of discipline within the AF Monaco applicable to students.
3. Field of Application
Article 2 – Persons concerned
These rules apply to all students enrolled at AF Monaco for the duration of their course.
Enrolment at AF Monaco implies acceptance by the student of the school’s internal of the establishment.
Article 3 – Location of the course
The course sessions take place on premises located in the Principality of Monaco which have been made available for this purpose by AF Monaco.
Courses take place all year round except during the Monaco’s Grand Prix, the month of August and on public holidays.
4. Health and safety
Article 4 – General rules
All students must ensure their own personal safety and that of others by complying with the following general and specific health and safety instructions in force at the training site.
However, in accordance with the regulations in force, when the session takes place in a company or establishment that already has internal regulations, the safety and health measures hygiene measures applicable to students are those of the site where the training takes place.
Article 5 – No smoking
In accordance with Law no. 1.346 of 9 May 2008 on protection against smoking, which lays down the conditions for the application of the ban on smoking in places designated for collective use, it is hereby forbidden to smoke on AF Monaco premises. Cigarette butts must be deposited in ashtrays installed in authorized areas.
Electronic cigarettes are also prohibited in collective areas.
Article 6 – Alcoholic drinks and drugs
It is forbidden for students to enter or remain on the premises in a state of intoxication or under the influence of drugs, or bring in alcoholic beverages or drugs.
Article 7 – Accidents
Any accident or incident occurring during training must be reported immediately by the student involved in the accident or the people who witnessed the accident to the head of the establishment or his/her representative.
Article 8 – Fire instructions
Students must comply with the safety and evacuation instructions indicated on the signs located in all the premises and corridors of the school. As soon as the alarm sounds, groups must leave the premises calmly, following the instructions given by the teacher and/or the person in charge.
Emergency exits are signposted.
Fire instructions and in particular a map showing the location of fire extinguishers and emergency exits are posted on the premises so that all students are aware of them.
5. Premises
Article 9 – Cleanliness
Students are required to keep the premises at their disposal in a good state of repair, paper and other rubbish must be disposed of in the bins provided.
6. Discipline
Article 10 – Timetables
Students must comply with the timetables set and communicated at the time of enrolment.
Article 11 – Premises
Students are not authorized to enter the premises without the express authorization of a teacher or manager.
For courses taking place in a school made available to AF Monaco by the Monaco’s Government, students must comply with the security measures specific by presenting the security guard with a name badge (or identity document) provided at the time of enrolment.
Article 12 – Dress and behaviour
Students are asked to come to the training center in decent dress, respecting the multicultural dimension of the audience and optimal conditions for learning conditions.
They are also asked to behave towards all persons on the premises in a way that behaviour that ensures respect for the basic rules of good manners and community and the smooth running of the activities.
During training sessions, students must :
– switch off their mobile phone or set it to vibrate, and use it as sparingly as possible,
– do not eat in the classrooms ,
– do not move furniture out of the room without the express permission of the teacher,
– keep the premises clean.
Acceptance of the internal rules of AF Monaco implies respect for the principles of secularism and political, ideological and religious neutrality.
Article 13 – Use of equipment
The use of technical equipment (interactive digital board, computer, overhead projector, video projector, etc.) is forbidden unless a teacher is present.
Article 14 – Recordings, intellectual property
Recording or filming of course sessions is strictly forbidden, unless expressly authorized. The teaching documentation provided during training sessions is protected by copyright and may only be reused for strictly personal use.
Article 15 – Liability of the organization in the event of theft or damage to learners’ personal property AF Monaco declines all liability in the event of loss, theft or damage to personal objects of any kind left by learners on the premises used. Students must have insurance covering the risks of theft, medical problems, repatriation and civil liability.
Article 16 – Penalties and disciplinary procedure
The smooth running of training courses is facilitated when everyone takes their share of responsibility. Any behaviour considered to be misconduct by the AF Monaco management may, depending on its nature and seriousness, be subject to one or other of the following penalties in ascending order of severity:
– call to order,
– written warning,
– temporary exclusion,
– permanent exclusion.
Article 17 – Publicity
These rules may be consulted on the AF Monaco website. The student is informed before starting the session.
