► Admission requirements
Courses are open to adults and to minors under the age of 18, subject to parental authorization.
Before enrolling, each student must ensure that no administrative obstacles (such as lack of visa or residence permit) prevent their participation. The Alliance Française de Monaco cannot be held responsible in the event of non-issuance of such documents.
Each group course session will only begin if at least 6 students are enrolled. In the event of cancellation by the Alliance Française de Monaco due to an insufficient number of participants, all fees paid for the session will be fully refunded.
► Insurance
Each student must have personal insurance covering health, accident, and civil liability risks. These insurances are the sole responsibility of the student.

Any rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled course. If the request is made less than 48 hours in advance, the course will be automatically charged.
Cancellations are not permitted once payment has been made, in accordance with the general terms.

1.Preamble
The purpose of these internal rules, in accordance with current legislation, is to specify the provisions applicable to all students enrolled in courses and/or participating in cultural events as well as all activities organized by the Alliance Française of Monaco. Persons enrolled in courses will be referred to hereafter as “students”. The Alliance Française of Monaco will be referred to hereafter as “AF Monaco”.
2. General provisions
Article 1 – Purpose
These internal rules define the general rules regarding hygiene, safety, and discipline applicable to students at AF Monaco.
3. Field of Application
Article 2 – Persons concerned
These rules apply to all students enrolled at AF Monaco throughout the duration of their training.
Enrolment at AF Monaco implies the student’s acceptance of the internal rules of the institution.
Article 3 – Location of the Training
The course sessions take place in premises located in the Principality of Monaco, made available for this purpose by AF Monaco.
Courses are held throughout the year, except during the Monaco Grand Prix, in August, and on public holidays.
4. Health and safety
Article 4 – General rules
Each student must ensure their own safety and that of others by adhering to the general and specific safety and hygiene instructions in effect at the training venue.
However, in accordance with applicable regulations, when the session takes place in a company or an establishment already equipped with an internal set of rules, the safety and hygienemeasures hygiene measures to students are those of the location where the training is being conducted.
Article 5 – Smoking Ban
In accordance with Law no. 1.346 of 9 May 2008, relating to protection against smoking, which sets the conditions for the smoking ban in places designated for collective use, smoking is prohibited in the premises provided by AF Monaco. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in the ashtrays placed in designated areas.
E-cigarettes are also prohibited in collective-use areas.
Article 6 – Alcohol and Drugs
Students are prohibited from entering or remaining in the institution under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as well as from bringing alcoholic beverages or drugs into the premises.
Article 7 – Accidents
Any accident or incident that occurs during training must be immediately reported by the injured student or any witnesses to the inscident to the responsible staff member or representative of the institution.
Article 8 – Fire safety Instructions
Students must follow the safety and evacuation instructions displayed on signs in all rooms and corridors of the institution. Upon the sounding of the alarm, groups must calmly exit the premises following the instructions given by the teacher and/or a responsible staff member.
Emergency exits are clearly marked.
Fire safety instructions, including a map showing the locations of fire extinguishers and emergency exits, are displayed in the premises for all students to see.
5. Premises
Article 9 – Cleanliness
Students are required to maintain the premises provided to them in good condition. Papers and other waste must be placed in the bins designed for this purpose.
6. Discipline
Article 10 – Timetables
Students must adhere to the schedules set and communicated at the time of their enrolment.
Article 11 – Premises
Students are not authorized to enter the premises without the express permission of a teacher or responsible staff member.
For courses taking place in a school building provided to AF Monaco by the Monegasque Government, students must respect the institution’s specific safety measures by presenting a student (or ID card) issued to them upon registration.
Article 12 – Attire and Behaviour
Students are expected to present themselves at the training venue in decent attire that respects the multicultural nature of the audience and ensures optimal conditions for learning.
They must also exhibit behaviour that guarantees respect for basic rules of good conduct, appropriate community behaviour, and the smooth running of activities.
During training sessions, students must :
– switch off their mobile phones or set them to vibrate, and limit their use as much as possibleuse it as sparingly as possible,
– refrain from eating in the classrooms,
– not move furniture out of the room without the express permission of the teacher,
– leave the premises clean.
Acceptance of the internal rules of AF Monaco implies respect for the principles of secularism and political, ideological and religious neutrality.
Article 13 – Use of equipment
The use of technical equipment (interactive whiteboard, computer, overhead projector, video projector, etc.) is prohibited without the presence of a teacher.
Article 14 – Recordings, Intellectual Property
It’s strictly prohibited, unless expressly authorized, to record or film the training sessions. The educational material provided during the training sessions is protected by copyright and may only be used for personal purposes.
Article 15 – Responsaibility of the Organization in Case of Theft or Damage to Students’ Personnal Property
AF Monaco disclaims any responsability for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings of any kind left by students in the premises used. Students must have insurance covering risks of theft, medical issues, repatriation, and civil liability.
Article 16 – Sanctions and Disciplinary Procedure
The smooth running of training courses is facilitated when everyone assumes their share of responsibility. Any behaviour considered improper by the AF Monaco management, may depending on its nature and severity, result in one of the followinf sanctions, in increasing order of severity:
– A reminder,
– A written warning,
– Temporary exclusion,
– Permanent exclusion.
7. Publicity
Article 17 – Publicity
The present rules are available on the AF Monaco website, students will be sistematically informed before the session.
